tips for artists:

don’t ever, ever give up. you’ve come so far.

also, don’t let negative feedback get you down. everyone learns and improves at their own pace; and as long as you keep trying, you will continue to improve.

it’s very simple.

more tips for artists:

it doesn’t matter if you are inexperienced with art; if you truly enjoy drawing, you are an artist. own that title. it will make you happier to do so. improvement and the expansion of your knowledge might even come easier to you if you become more confident with the label over time.

being an artist is not about having or wanting a career in art. it’s about finding joy in creating, making, and expressing yourself.

you are an artist. do not refuse to give and/or take that away from yourself.

If you look at the fact that you have a roof over your head, food to eat, that you are young and beautiful and live in a peaceful land, then no, you have nothing to be sad about. But the fact is, we are not only a physical body, we have souls too, and sometimes our souls get sick. If you break a leg you don’t just say ‘I have no reason to have a broken leg’ and ignore it; you seek help. It’s the same when your soul gets hurt. Don’t apologize for being sad.
